Court trials are fascinating to behold. There’s something about people having to give an official account for what they’ve said and done that draws our attention. The fact that their life or livelihood is also on the line grips us. And there have been famous trials throughout history, but there are no more gripping trials than the ones that Jesus faced from the authorities of his day. As John 18:12-27 shows Jesus on trial spiritually, it reveals things about God and things about man that we don’t want to miss.
