Worship

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31)

The worship ministry is a vital part of our church life, and music is just one of many forms of expression of worship. We can be encouraged and strengthened in our faith when we offer praise and worship to God in a group setting, such as Sunday morning service. We also believe the atmosphere in a worship setting should point to God rather than distract from Him. Instead of focusing on any particular personality or talent on the platform, we aim to magnify the Lord alone. Our prayer is that our praise and worship are a pleasing offering to Him – a personal, authentic response to who God is and what He’s done.

There are three primary expressions of the worship arts that you or your family may desire to participate in.

  • Worship Team: This team consists of vocalists and musicians who lead the congregation to praise God in our weekly worship services.
  • Choirs: The Easter Choir will rehearse and lead worship during Easter, and the Student Choir will rehearse and lead worship during the Christmas season.
  • Technology Team: This team monitors sound mixing, recording, and visual production during weekly worship services.
