Time
Our worship service is on Sunday mornings at 10:00am and lasts for about an hour and fifteen minutes.
Location
We meet at Kindred Oaks on the central edge of Leander and Georgetown at 2100 Co Rd 176, Leander, TX 78628. You will see our signs on the road leading you in to the property as well as signs for where to park.
Worship Music
Our worship music features contemporary songs as well as modern & traditional hymns woven in the mix. We love singing and lifting our voices to God in worship.
Sermon
Pastor Michael preaches expositionally, providing a study of Bible verses in the context of the greater passage and chapters within the structure of a Bible book. Sermons are around forty minutes.
Dress Code
People dress as they feel comfortable and we have a mixture of people who dress casually to those who dress a little more dress-casual.
Coffee
Free coffee and bottled water is available on the patio before service. You are welcome to bring your drink into the worship service.
Children
Children ages 6 months to 2 years meet in the Baby and Toddler room, and children ages 3 years up to kindergarten meet in the PreK room. Both of these classrooms are located in the Kindred Oaks house. Children in 1st through 5th grade start their morning in the Pavilion, where they join in worship with their families and the larger church body. Just before the sermon begins, the children walk with their teacher to their classroom in the Kindred Oaks house.
*Every 5th Sunday, the elementary students join their families for the entire 10am worship service.
Students
By design, students who are in Middle School and High School attend the Sunday morning worship service, giving them the opportunity to worship with their families and learn to hear scripture and think through matters of the gospel at an adult level. This also helps prepare them for attending church on their own after High School. However, we encourage all youth to attend the Student Ministry meeting on Wednesday nights to connect with other youth and explore the wonders of the gospel.
To ensure the safety of the children God entrusts to us, all Children’s & Student Ministry volunteers who are eighteen years of age and older pass background checks and complete MinistrySafe training before serving in these ministries.
