
Women’s Ministry Craft Night

More information below on the craft you will be creating:
Decoupage Terracotta Flowerpot Prework
Materials for YOU to bring:
New or cleaned terracotta pot, any size
Note: If you want to paint your pot first, you will need to do this ahead of the
craft night and be sure it has dried completely. At least 2-3 hours, but overnight is
best. Best types of paint to use include, FolkArt Terra Cotta Paint, Acrylic Craft Paint or
Chalk Paint. Walmart, Michaels or Hobby Lobby typically have good brands.
Do not seal it after painting.
Materials that will be supplied:
Assortment of napkins (feel free to bring your own if they speak to you)
Assortment of tissue paper (mostly solid colors)
Foam brush
Mod Podge
Scissors to cut out shapes or you can tear into pieces for a more rustic look
Instructions will also be provided on craft night in case you want to decoupage
more at another time.
**Once you have completed your pot, it will need to ‘cure’ 3-7 days before
placing outdoors or planting a live plant.
