CORNERSTONE ELDERS

Cornerstone Community Church is led by a group of elders. This type of church leadership is modeled after the New Testament church. According to 1 Peter 5:2-3, elders are called to care for God’s people and lead them. Currently serving Cornerstone as elders are Jonathan Andrews, Michael Goacher, Marty Reed, and Doug Shuffield.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT CORNERSTONE

We gather every Sunday morning for a time of authentic worship and expository Bible teaching. Your children (babies - 5th grade) will love their time in KidZone! Connect Groups for adults meet throughout the week. Bible Study for middle school/high school students is held Wednesday evenings. More on these ministries below.

KIDZONE (Babies - 5th Grade)

In our KidZone ministry, we work to build a strong, Gospel-centered foundation for our children. We do this by teaching them about the nature and character of God - that He is wise, generous, loving, and good. Our hope is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children. We have a great time singing, dancing, playing games, and learning about the Bible. KidZone is open during the 10:00am worship service on Sunday mornings with check-in beginning at 9:45am.

CORNERSTONE STUDENTS (6th - 12th Grade)

Students meet on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. Middle School students meet with Pastor Nate and Student Leader Isabelle Gilmore. High School students meet with Student Leaders Mitch & Natalie Gumpl. We aim to help students grow in their faith and personal relationships with God through studying the Bible together in a weekly small group environment. Student small groups are a great mix of adult-led Bible study, social activity, accountability, and fun. Come hang out with us!

CONNECT GROUPS (Adults)

Did you know one of the best ways to grow spiritually is by engaging in a small group?  We were created for connection and community. Joining a Connect Group may be the perfect next step for you. Meet close to home, build meaningful relationships, support one another through life's ups and downs, and be challenged to take your next step in your relationship with Jesus. We have a variety of Connect Groups available throughout the week as well as short term studies and classes on topics such as marriage and parenting.

There is a place for you here!
